Study Overview
Orange County’s Transportation Planning Division has initiated a transportation improvement study that will perform a high-level technical evaluation to determine potential short and long-term improvement alternatives, and recommendations for improving the existing roadway. The study will consider alternative alignments and develop a recommended alternative to widen McCulloch Road including a raised median, a multipurpose path on one side of the road, and a sidewalk on the other.
By the end of the study, a final preferred alternative will be developed that incorporates public input with technical evaluation assessing the net benefits of the improvements. The study began in June 2024 and is currently in the data collection phase.
